Celebrations for Biodiversity in Nepal
The Centre for Nepal Environmental and Educational Development (CENEED) has been running a three-pronged project for the conservation of biodiversity by environmental education to all types of people. The program came to a conclusion in December 2007 with a ceremony celebrating its achievements.

The Fairchild Challenge allows botanic gardens and other like-minded organisations to engage schools and communities in meaningful environmental education. BGCI’s Julia Willison recently attended a workshop on how to initiate a Fairchild Challenge and has this report.
